Our Bentsen Elementary 5th grade girls had a blast as they participated in STEM Day. On March 1 the state of Texas encourages girls to participate and explore STEM related careers. La Joya ISD provided that opportunity for our very own students. Bentsen’s 5th grade girls navigated their way through a variety of stations where they were able to construct, explore, and investigate activities related to science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
