Bentsen Elementary was placed on lockdown this afternoon following a lockdown at nearby Palmview High School. We want to assure you that there is no immediate threat to Bentsen Elementary. This was a precautionary measure to ensure the continued safety of our students and staff. All students and staff are safe. We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to keep you informed with any updates.
